TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (July 17) - Florida A&M University Athletics, in cooperation with the Rattler Boosters, Inc., on Thursday launched its' new athletic website, www.FAMURattlerSports.com.
The internet site will offer a general home page for the 18-sport Rattler Athletic program, with dedicated pages for each sport, featuring stories, rosters, statistics and results. In addition, easy access to sports schedules, ticket information and other items of interest can be had via the site's home page. Hornell, NY --- Delaware State University’s Jose Sanchez was the “star of stars” in this week’s New York Collegiate Baseball League (NYCBL) All-Star Game. Sanchez was named Most Valuable Player of the all-star contest after going 3-for-5 with a double and three runs batted in to lead the West to a 9-5 win over the East on July 7 Watertown, N.Y. ATLANTA, GA - Former Prairie View A&M University baseball player Wilford White signed a free agent deal with the Atlanta Braves this past week. White’s quest to reach the major leagues began with the Danville Braves who currently serve as one of the Atlanta Braves’ minor league affiliates. (read more)
