Winston-Salem State Gains Membership Approval

Hampton, VA…The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Board of Directors, have granted Winston-Salem State University full Division II membership and CIAA conference admittance; beginning this athletic/academic season.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Though the team will make its debut in the spring of 2011, the Winston-Salem State University baseball program made an introduction to the Winston-Salem, N.C. community Tuesday evening as interim head baseball coach Kevin Ritsche threw out the first pitch at the Winston-Salem Dash versus Kinston Indians game at BB&T Ballpark.
